Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, went to Keiwa Gakuen High School in Niigata, where he was baptized. He is a fifth generation Christian.

Studied at BuenaVistaUniversity in Iowa, USA for more than three years in School of Education.

Returned to Japan and worked as a sports instructor.

Enrolled in the Faculty of Theology at Doshisha University in Kyoto, then went on to study at Doshisha University’s Graduate School of Theology (Department of Historical Theology), where he received his Master’s degree.

In April 2014, appointed as the Senior Pastor of Kiryu Tobu Church of the Japan Christian Church and the President of Kiryu Pastor’s Association Takasago Nursery School.

Loves to play soccer and was addicted to scuba diving before.

Traveled both domestically and internationally (the U.S., Canada, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, etc.)
